Why 98 Million Adolescent Girls Aren't In School #CreatorsForChange

Michelle Obama and the Girls Opportunity Alliance sit down with YouTube Creators Liza Koshy, Prajakta Koli and Thembe Mahlaba to answer the question “what does it really mean to educate a girl?” Each creator travels to a different country to visit a grassroots organization working to improve the lives of girls in their community.

  42. Every time I tell my mom that my brother can do everything I do because he also has two hands she gets angry at me and tells me things like “but you are a girl and he is a boy” what does that have to with anything though? Can he not do things because he is a boy? I don’t want to keep arguing about this with my mom because I love her but how do I get her to understand that the world is changing? Just wanted to let that out, thank you for this video I absolutely love it ❤️

  50. Its cause women make poor career choices. The higher education money they put in does not convert into producing higher value in terms of what they choose to do with their careers. Pushing out men actually hurts society.
