I was so happy with this season! Freak show and hotel were so disappointing i thought this season was gonna be even worse I didn't bother watching it when it came out, but it's now one of my favourites!
the first ep is confusing
Looks about as subtle as most American horror stuff ie not remotely subtle at all, and thus completely unfrightening. Less is more with horror, for fuck's sake, how often do people need to be told that?!

I started this season 1 year late, I thought it wouldn't be really good, everybody was saying bad things about it, plus I'm not into the documentary type thing. But HELL, that's the best season to me ! Really scared me at some points, thing that no other season did. Season 2 and 4 were creepy but this one really is scary, more than those crappy "horror movies" of our days. The acting was amazing, and the documentary thing was very well done, and was make in a clever way. As much as I love Alysium and Coven, my new fave is definitely Roanoke ! I don't get why people hate it so much !
